Branding
Our work with the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership began with a comprehensive brand refresh that honored the organization’s history while establishing a bold, contemporary visual identity. We retained core elements from the previous branding—native plants, water motifs, and the dragonfly—but elevated the dragonfly to serve as a dynamic brand mascot. This allowed us to create a cohesive identity that was both rooted in place and visually vibrant, evoking the energy of the watershed itself.
The updated branding introduced a new color palette, modern typography, and versatile brand assets that extended across all of the organization’s touchpoints. We developed a complete suite of branded materials, including business cards, letterheads, email signatures, stickers, and merchandise designs. Each item was crafted to reflect the organization’s mission while increasing visual recognition and community engagement.


Marketing
As their design partner, we supported Doan Brook Watershed Partnership’s educational and outreach efforts through a wide array of marketing materials. We created signage, banners, and display graphics for high-profile community events such as Family Fishing Day and Take to the Lake, designed to attract attention and invite participation. These pieces conveyed both a sense of celebration and environmental stewardship, aligning closely with the organization’s values.
In addition to event support, we produced handouts for community education and sponsorship outreach, as well as thoughtfully designed strategic plan booklets. Every marketing piece was aligned with the updated brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and a polished, professional appearance across all public-facing communications. Our work helped strengthen the organization’s presence in the community and engage a wider audience.

Annual Campaign, 2024

The Annual Campaign is a cornerstone of the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership’s fundraising efforts, and we collaborated closely with their team to elevate its visual and strategic impact. Each year-end campaign includes a refreshed set of materials designed to encourage donations and communicate the previous year’s accomplishments. We designed a compelling annual report that highlights achievements and donor impact through data visualization, photography, and narrative storytelling.
Complementary campaign assets included postcards, stickers, and printed materials for the annual meeting, such as event documents, posters, and interactive activities. These components worked in concert to create a memorable experience for supporters and stakeholders, reinforcing the value of their contributions. Our designs helped to cultivate donor loyalty and support the organization’s ongoing mission to protect and promote the Doan Brook watershed.
