About Lupine
Lupine Studios is a Scientific Illustration and Exhibit Design company committed to making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging. Through visually compelling work, we help scientists, non-profits, medical professionals, nature centers, zoos, and other organizations communicate their messages more effectively. Our projects range from illustrating intricate biological processes to designing interactive exhibits that bring science to life.
We are passionate about the accessibility of education, striving to contribute to public learning opportunities through innovative visual storytelling. At Lupine Studios, we value creativity, collaboration, and precision, and we’re dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our team.
Role Overview
As our Social Media & Marketing Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in building and maintaining Lupine Studios’ online presence. You’ll manage content across Instagram and LinkedIn, develop our content calendar, and collaborate directly with our design team to create on-brand posts that showcase our work.
This is a great opportunity to build real-world marketing experience in a creative, science-forward environment.
What you will do
- Create engaging content for Instagram, including project spotlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and company highlights, that feels fun, approachable, and consistent with our brand voice.
- Manage our LinkedIn presence with a B2B focus, crafting professional posts aimed at building connections and supporting lead generation.
- Build and maintain a content calendar to keep our posting schedule consistent and strategic across both platforms.
- Collaborate with our design team to develop visually polished posts that align with Lupine Studios’ aesthetic.
- Use Canva as the primary design tool (experience with Adobe Suite is a bonus, but not required).
- Monitor post performance and suggest content improvements based on engagement.
What we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A passion for social media and content creation, with an eye for visual storytelling.
- Comfortable working in Canva; Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to stick to deadlines.
- Interest in science, nature, or the arts is a big plus — but not required!
Bonus point if you…
- Have experience managing a personal or professional social media account.
- Are familiar with content scheduling tools.
- Have a background or coursework in biology, ecology, or science communication.
What you’ll gain
- Hands-on experience managing social media for a real creative agency.
- A portfolio of content across Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Mentorship and collaboration with an experienced design team.
- Exposure to the world of scientific illustration and exhibit design.
